RANKIN AWARD NOM
And StarHenge update!
RANKIN AWARD
I’m absolutely delighted to be nominated by Robert E. Howard fans for the The Rankin Award, for Artistic Achievement, in the 2026 Robert E. Howard Awards, for my story “Tattered Wings,” in The Savage Sword of Conan #11. Completely unexpected. As many of you know, that story was over 25 years in the making, from my early concept and plot, to finally finishing it last year. I remain incredibly proud of it, and am chuffed to bits about this news.
STARHENGE BOOK 2
Some of my little-seen creator-owned projects have always been intended to exist within larger works. That’s the case for the ‘Lib LaRoche’ story, mostly only seen by those that backed the Encore book, as it was published as an add-on. For anybody that missed that story, it has now been absorbed into the wider StarHenge mythos, and will feature as a story within a story in that much grander narrative, I’m delighted to share with you. It was developed as part of a different story that did ultimately morph into StarHenge, and has been waiting for the right time for inclusion. That time is now.
Here’s my 1:10 B cover for STARHENGE BOOK TWO: A KISS FOR ATTICUS. Just solicited for an early July release from Image!

Congratulations, Doc.
Grats!
