SSoC#11 OUT TODAY!
Mostly!
Friends -
Savage Sword #11 is out today in the US, but I hear that sadly it’s not in the UK until next week - HOWEVER Forbidden Planet Derby will have copies to purchase for my signing on Saturday, so if you are local please do come along! It was meant to be out this week here, but ongoing distribution issues have delayed things.
On another note, Luna (distributors) sent the following message out to retailers re. #11 of The Savage Sword of Conan:
‘Dear Retailers,
Copies of SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN #11 CVR A and CVR B (Lunar codes: 0925TN1002 and 0925TN1003), came from the printer with CVR A and CVR B switched. We have updated the titles to show the correct cover artist. These covers have been made fully returnable.
There will be no reprints.’
Online I have seen people sharing this message too:
The upshot here is that people who ordered my cover won’t get it, and may be disappointed. So I’m just here to say - I’m so sorry if you don’t get the one you want, but as there will apparently be no reprints I hope you decide not to return it, and enjoy the 48 page story I wrote and drew for the interior. It’s a lifelong ambition of mine to do this book, as you have all heard endlessly from me, and I’m incredibly proud of it. I’d really hate a cock-up at the distribution level to mess-up sales, or your enjoyment. The ‘A’ cover is still a beauty! Gorgeously painted by Alex Horley. So hopefully you’ll still be happy regardless!
US readers - please do drop me a line if/when you pick up a copy! I’d love to hear from you! It has, as I say, been a VERY long time coming!
The first review I’ve seen gave us an amazing 11/10 (though don’t read if you don’t want spoilers, it does lay out the entire plot!)

Despite all the above, I am determined to enjoy today! I’m so thrilled with how it came out, and believe it’s my best work ever - so far at least! Wish me luck, and best always!
Liam

Greetings Liam, you have an interesting style, I do enjoy reading the posts of yours which arrive on my home page, thank you.
While I’m here, I write about obscure histories, through a philosophical lens and grounded in historic books.
Here’s my latest on an intriguing tale about a dragon, I thought you may enjoy it!:

Picked up my copy in NoHo yesterday. So stoked to have it, but yeah, the issue about the cover is still bitter-sweet —Heh, issue with the cover? ... Nevermind. Nonetheless, Alex Horley's cover is impressive and with your story still inside, this is not being returned.
Seriously, not even a sacrificial groan for the pun?
