I remember when my daughter first handed me some art that was beyond the stuff that little kids draw, & how great that was. I have 3 grandkids now, & they've all seen me drawing & their mom drawing, but one is still very little, the eldest often struggles with the fact that she can't just make what she sees in her head, but the middle child, my grandson, is completely free of caring much about how perfect it is, or not. He just enjoys doing it.
I saw in one of your responses here, that your daughter has put out a book for younger readers, which my grandkids are also very into, I'd like to know the name of it, but I'll try a search too.
Thank you for the lovely response. Matylda's book is only just completed, and will be out next year, but it is called 'Bubblegum Coven', and it's by Rex Ogle and Matylda McCormack-Sharp. :-)
Indeed! She did one for the first series too, plus some interior art. She's actually just completed a 240 page GN for 8 - 12 YO for First Second publishing, so I'm a very proud dad. :-)
