I have some of the Storm books. I snatched up my first copy in the Netherland in '85 ("De Doder Van Eriban" #13). Yeah, it's in Dutch and, no, I don't read it. I don't care. Don Lawrences art was not to be missed just because I couldn't read it. Later some of the series was featured in Heavy Metal and there was one English language edition that I found. I wish the English speaking audience liked it enough for it to remain in print. I did. I have anotherHC German edition from Splitter ("Kommandant Grek" 0) and the Book Palace Books "Pandarve" (limited ed. 31/250). It's great to know you worked with him. What an honor that was to have as a one on one experience. It's one you honor and appreciate, clearly. Well done.

Yes, sadly neither I nor, in fact, Don read many in English! Don only read one of them, which blew my mind even back then! He felt they should have started with later albums when they tried them in English, and they also needed a writer to put a contemporary western spin on the script. I've offered myself for that role numerous times, to no avail...

The comic industry is heartbreaking in the many missed opportunities, all the while putting out truly forgettable reams of a boring ongoing series. I can't begin to list all the great stuff I have from all over the world that will never make it to an English language market while literal piles of monthly churned out superhero fare fills dollar bins so tight it's easy to not bother looking- even if I had the interest. I hope you get back to your Starhenge soon, too. Thanks for sharing your chunk of incredible history working with a master, Don Lawrence.
